A short distance behind Balnakeil we leave our car on a parking place.
After a few minutes we reach a dream-beach.
At Balnakeil Bay the kids are still up the scratch, not knowing of the long way to go...
In the background the other side of the bay if visible, that’s the way to Cape Wrath.

This landscape of dunes has no rivals.
Dunes of several metres height, the sun is beaming down and we have still a few miles ahead of us.

Sometimes we feel like walking in a desert…
… bones of sheep included.

Puffins! The best pictures are still “under development” – here’s an advance-picture.

We pass on the west side at 'Clach Bhead na Faraid' on our way.
back.
It’s windy – but what a pleasure in the hot weather.
The Kiddies got enough for this day...
Back to Loch Eribol, Talmine, the cottage – take a rest.
